In 2023, LUYISI completed a batch of glass louver windows for a school building project in Nigeria. The products were intended for local classroom buildings, and the client’s requirements were clear from the beginning: the windows needed to provide ventilation and also suit a hot, sunny, and dusty environment.

During the early stage of the project, the client was focused less on appearance alone and more on how the windows would perform in daily use. School buildings require frequent opening and closing, so beyond ventilation, the client also paid attention to shading, dust control, moisture resistance, durability, and ease of maintenance.
Glass louver windows are commonly used in schools, residential buildings, and commercial projects. Their main advantages are straightforward: good airflow, a lighter visual appearance, limited space occupation, and convenient cleaning. At the same time, the client also mentioned that some standard products they had seen before showed common issues in use, including operating noise, average sealing performance, water penetration during rain, and reduced stability after long-term use.

Based on this feedback, LUYISI adjusted the solution for this order. The main work focused on reducing operating noise, improving sealing performance, and making the window system more stable in hot, dusty, and humid conditions. Insect screen options were also added to this project to better match local daily use.

Upon project completion, the Nigerian client visited the factory for an on-site inspection. They were highly impressed by the product’s craftsmanship and performance.
