Jalousie louver, commonly known as tilt glass slat louver, is composed of multiple parallel tempered glass slats assembled inside a sturdy frame. Linked by internal connecting hardware, all slats tilt synchronously to adjust ventilation, light intake and privacy levels efficiently. Standard operation adopts a smooth manual crank handle; motorized electric control is available as an upgrade for smart building applications.
When slats are partially opened, ample cross ventilation flows into the room to drain humidity, heat and odors, ideal for damp spaces like bathrooms and kitchens. Fully closed slats form a tight waterproof seal with rubber gaskets to stop rain, wind and external noise. The main frame is made of 6063 aluminum alloy with electrostatic powder coating, resisting rust, UV fading and corrosion even in coastal salty environments. For enhanced safety, matching security grille or anti-theft mesh can be installed together with the jalousie louver.
Fixed non-adjustable jalousie louver variants are also offered for warehouse, stairwell and auxiliary vent use, requiring nearly zero maintenance.
